There are 999 grim, grinning spirits who are just dying to meet you at the Haunted Mansion. But many don’t know that there is also a chamber hidden deep within one of the resorts of Walt Disney World. Can you keep a secret?

• You arrive at your destination, entering into what seems to be a resort ballroom. But as the Ghost Hosts says, once you step through the doors… “There’s no turning back!”

• You step through the doorway and find a dimly lit Crypt ahead.

• A mysterious Butler greets you with a lantern in hand and escorts you through the darkened structure.

You emerge into a dark chamber.

• Decked out as a haunted library filled with bookcases, cobwebs, gargoyles, and creepy portraits, your haunted evening continues in this hallowed space.

• A sinister table sits grandly in the center of the room, soon filled with fun, ghoulish fare.

• Musical selections mixed with sound effects create a spooky underscore.

You hear the voice of the disembodied Ghost Host, who welcomes you and emcees the event from beyond.

• You are treated to a dinner filled with ghoulish delights chosen just for you and served by the house staff of the mansion.

• The Butler announces each course in a frightfully fun manner.

• Four hitchhiking ghosts enter and perform a series of frightful hits in perfect four-part harmony.

• The lights dim as the Butler provides an intimate history of the Haunted Mansion.

• As he spins his ghostly yarns, a series of well-timed sound effects from point source locations in the room create a sense of paranormal activity.

Desert is served.

• As you enjoy your desserts, the Butler reveals he has one more story. He pulls out a particular book from the bookcase and recites The Nightmare Before Christmas to you.

• Lighting flickers with creepy sound effects throughout the room.

• The lights go to black as the score from Danny Elfman’s A Nightmare Before Christmas is heard.

• The voice of Jack Skelington is heard. “Happy Birthday!”

What’s this?

• A burst of fog from the open fireplace signals the arrival of your special Guest.

• Emerging from the fireplace is Jack Skellington.

• Accompanying Jack is his spooky companion, Sally.

• He greets the family and poses for photos. Stating there are “only so many days before Halloween” and “he has planning to do!” He exits with Sally through the fireplace wishing you a Scary Christmas.

Hurry back…

Suddenly, the sound of a clock chimes 13 and the butler returns. He solemnly says (with a wry wink), “Now it is time to return to the mortal world – but have no fear…a ghost will follow you home.” Then, when you and your family return to your resort room, you find one last supernatural surprise, a clever collection of Nightmare Before Christmas and Haunted Mansion memorabilia, chosen just for you.
