HALLOWEEKENDS

Cedar Point's HalloWeekends is an annual event that takes place during the fall season and has become one of the most highly-anticipated events in Ohio. What began as a small event has now turned into a seven-week extravaganza, offering a wide range of activities to cater to everyone's interests.

In honor of HalloWeekends' 25th anniversary, Michael designed a special anniversary event that includes new interactive shows and haunts connected together by a storyline featuring a new icon for the event - Mister Midnight. As the new "Master of Scarymoanies," Mr. Midnight holds court over the event and orchestrates and commences the haunted activities on the HalloWeekends Main Stage, adding a new level of entertainment to the event.

Michael also helped design new haunted attractions, such as Bloodbath, an indoor haunted maze located within the towering structure of the Steel Vengeance roller coaster. Visitors will enter what appears to be an all-new private club named "Orpheus," only to realize that they are in the midst of a terrifying underground operation.

Another exciting haunted attraction is Eerie Estate, where guests can take part in a ghost hunt and explore the limestone mansion. The Sandusky Paranormal Society invites visitors to join them in a mysterious exploration as they test the rumors of ghostly tenants roaming the halls.

The event also features a new musical production called "The Midnight Hour: 25 Years of HalloWeekends with Midnight Syndicate." This production takes guests on a musical tour of Cedar Point's Haunted attractions throughout the years, with Mr. Midnight tying all the stories together. Midnight Syndicate is a musical duo known for composing the popular Halloween music heard in theme parks nationwide.

Finally, guests can find new clues hidden throughout the park's haunted attractions, adding a new level of engagement and fun.
